The TREC contract forms have been revised to provide that if the Seller fails to deliver the existing survey and the Residential Real Property Affidavit (T-47) promulgated by the Texas Department of Insurance within the time period set out in the contract, the buyer may obtain a new survey, at the seller's expense, no later than 3 days before the closing date.
