Arrange to have your phone, gas, cable, electric and water service connected the day before you move in Local Utility Services... See Useful Numbers below Two weeks prior to your move

    

Fill out Change of Address Form Any U.S. Post Office (They’ll even hold your mail a few days) USPS recommends at least one month prior; the form has a start date
    
Arrange to have your kids registered at new schools The local area school district School districts vary; consult your local area district
    
Contact Phone Co. for your new number Local area service provider At least one week prior
